Phil Evans
After more than 14 years in the sports and entertainment industry, former NBA D-League President Philip G. Evans formed Evans Sports and Media Group in July 2007.
At ESMG, we have advised a variety of clients in the sports and entertainment industry, including the former owner of the River City Sportsplex, a 115 acre, 12 synthetic turf multi-sport facility in Midlothian, VA, several clients who wanted to assess the feasibility of owning and operating a NBA D-League (now NBA G-League) team in the U.S. or Canada, a group interested in starting an indoor professional lacrosse league, the former owners of Hoop it Up and Kick It, a company that produces actions sports-based experiential events throughout the country, and an entrepreneur who has explored several professional basketball league and tournament opportunities and who is currently focusing his efforts on 3x3, a new "discipline" of basketball that will be played at the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
